3D PATH Partners Meet in Florence to Advance the Next Phase of the Project

The 3D PATH consortium gathered on July 20th for its M15 Technical Consortium Meeting, hosted by project coordinator Clepio Biotech at its headquarters in Sesto Fiorentino. The meeting was attended in person by ACMIT, while colleagues from the University of Bern participated remotely.

The consortium reviewed the progress achieved across all technical work packages and discussed the activities planned for the coming months. One of the main objectives of the meeting was to finalize the hardware design by integrating feedback from the University of Bern, ensuring that the technology continues to address real clinical needs and future adoption in pathology laboratories.

In addition to technical discussions, partners carried out a comprehensive risk analysis to identify potential challenges and define mitigation strategies for the next implementation phase. The meeting also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, coordinate future tasks, and maintain a shared vision across the consortium.

Regular technical meetings play a fundamental role in ensuring that 3D PATH continues to progress towards its goal of delivering scalable, reliable 3D digital pathology solutions for precision medicine.
